Well, I wasn't able to go to the M&G at Books A Million yesterday as my foster brother (human) was very sick and my mom had to help him out.
We did go to PetSmart in Hermitage today and it was quite fun. I met alot of people and really liked two different couples that seemed to like me alot too. Maybe they can think about it this week and possibly adopt me in the near future. I will be at the Fall Festival next Sunday also. See you then!!!

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that I plan to be at the Meet and Greet this Sat. 9/10 at the Books A Million in Rivergate. Also, I am going to try and go to the special 3 day Meet and Greet on Sunday at the Hermitage PetSmart. I won't be there the whole time from 10-5 but will try to stay as long as possible.
Also I want you to come and see me at the Fall picnic on 9/18 from 1:00-4:00.  Please come out and see me!!!  :+)

Here is a picture of me and my foster sister, Jasmine at the Festival after we ran the relay race. Wee all of the
beads we won (I won the most but I don't want her to hear me bragging). We were pretty tired after that but then we pretty much sleep all the time anyway.

We went to the Greyhound Festival of the Bluegrass in Ky last weekend and I had a blast. I am really coming out of my shyness. My foster sister, Jasmine, and I entered a relay race and I came in second place by only 5 seconds. I won alot of beads and when my foster mom figures out how to add my picture I will show you. I met alot of new Grey friends and also some people.
My little foster nephew (human) was at our house last week and he was running around and yelling and it didn't even bother me. I usually just get up and go in another room but I hung right in there with him. He seems to really like me and was always coming up and hugging and petting me. I like him too. When he tells me to go lay down that's what I did. He gives us treats too.
I really want a forever home soon.

Violet update

Well, I had my first home visit Sat. Things went pretty well but I was very shy. I think I need to be in a home with someone who is mature (older) and quiet, as loud noises kind of make me nervous. I am so very sweet and beautiful and would make a great pet for someone special out there. I really love children and am very good with them but sometimes they get kind of noisy. I like other dogs too, even small ones if they aren't too noisy. I love my foster home and sisters but really want a place I can call my very own.

Violet update 6/30/11

Sorry it has been so long since I updated but needed help. Violet is still doing great. She is just a "reserved" little lady. Very polite and easy going. She has really settled in well. She has been with us for a little over two months and really wants a forever home. She is so sweet and if I didn't already have my limit I would keep her. She comes up and lays her head on my lap to be petted (something she learned from her foster sister Jasmine) but will then go lay down when you tell her. Very low maintenance, and she has started doing the happy jump when I get home or when she wants to go out.  She gets along great with my little dog and is very much small child safe and cares nothing about the neighborhood cats. Doesn't appreciate alot of noise. She is still afraid of storms and can warn you ahead of time, but I put her in her crate and cover her up and she's fine.

Violet

Violet came to us this past Saturday 4/23. She is a real joy and so very sweet and easy. A little shy at the beginning but is warming up very well. She is quite afraid of storms but loves to stay in her crate with a cover.  She is good with my female grey who is a "Diva" and also very good with my little dog. I am anxious to get her with my little grandson who is very good with dogs. I plan to take her to the M & G at 100 Oaks on Sat so come out and meet her. She is beautiful.
